A revision of the last 20 years.

Video installation.

Anchor:

  • Video with footage of my first trip to NYC in 2006 —> playing with ideas of time travel, using MoMA PS1’s Summer Shows Time Frame and Into Me/Out of Me shows as a portal for time travel.

  • Summer 2006 was my summer after my first year studying engineering and learning basic concepts of time travel through a physics perspective in my first Physics classes

  • Me and that travel would be an excuse or an anchor and there would be a ghostly projection (set of projections) of footage from this trip, but distored

Historical Video:

  • Using La Rentrada’s Bibliography as a reference, but instead of as a collage, as a video, going very fast, 1-5 seconds per news, for a total of 5mn (covering around 300 cover stories)

Installation:

  • Similar to Tejiendo el Guayabo but with paper from the era (problem = I don’t know if I want to or need to destroy)

  • Playing with ideas of materials that can make time travel
